This is a simple update that you can use Sparky for.  Send a command to Sparky to merge contacts.  For example, there are two contacts - Joe Smith and Joseph Smith.  Simply send a similar message like this:  "Merge contact Joe Smith into Joseph Smith".  The result will be a merged contact into the contact Joseph Smith.
